We are very relieved to have completed the arduous process of selling our home, and we recognize that a key element (perhaps the key element) in the successful closing of the sale was your great persistence. You warned us that the fall is normally a slow period for showing a home, and yet you brought a constant stream of potential buyers through the house week after week. This went on for 4 ½ months and yet you still arranged to show the house as often towards the end of this period as you did during the first few weeks we worked with you. It was also very meaningful to us that you or your representative was almost always present when a potential buyer examined our home, to explain the unique advantages of Niguel Shores and its Homeowners Association. We were certainly impressed that you were always available with humor, practical advice, and a calm demeanor during the entire period of our house remained on the market. You were a help in not over interpreting why we were not receiving offers, and helped us resist unreasonably further lowering our asking price. As you were fond of saying, you never know who will make an offer, and there certainly was true when the actual buyer of our property made an offer several days after we took the house off the market, thinking that we would not be able to sell the home until sometime in 2015. We might have lost that offer with another realtor working for us, and we were aware that you were marketing our home even when we had withdrawn it from being offered. Again, great job and we wholeheartedly thank you for the tremendous effort you put in. I doubt anyone could have done better.

Over the past two months I have had the pleasure of conducting two escrows with your Laguna Niguel team. The first transaction was the sale of my home. Connie McKibban recommended Kevin Sprong as our escrow officer. Even before we had an offer on the house, Kevin graciously provided a cost estimate. When we accepted an offer, it was any easy decision as to which escrow to use…” The Escrow Source” was the obvious choice. Throughout the duration of the escrow Kevin was informative and responsive to every inquiry and call. I was so pleased with the job that Kevin performed I wanted to use him when we made an offer to buy another home. I was a little disappointed when the seller demanded to use Rosie Christensen, but pleased to discover that she worked for “The Escrow Source.” I quickly found that Rosie was equally as helpful and responsive to my barrage of questions. She was always appeared calm and confident, which made us feel like we were in good hands. Both Kevin and Rosie have very pleasant personalities and are consummate professionals in every sense. Which leads me to another member of your office lineup…whenever my wife or I called or came into the office, Christina, the office receptionist, was always very charming and joyful in her interactions with us. On one hot day I said, “a margarita would be great right now” and joked how the Escrow Source should provide margaritas for their clients. Much to our surprise and delight, when we came in again to sign loan docs, Christina presented us with “virgin” margaritas. It was a nice touch and demonstrated that your team truly offers personal service. My wife and I are glad to hear that Christina is now taking on new responsibilities. It also demonstrates that you recognize talent. I don’t normally recommend businesses unless I am absolutely confident that the person receiving the recommendation will be treated in the same manner. As the owner of a small real estate and mortgage banking litigation shop, time is exceedingly valuable to me. For this reason, and the fact that I am not exactly easy to please, I rarely write letters of praise. However, Connie McKibban’s professionalism, diligence, attention to detail, and rigorous adherence to her fiduciary duties require me to write this letter. Now that the Kaplan house at 39 Coast del Sol has been sold and escrow closed. I wanted to thank you so much for all you did for us. From the very day you took over. I felt that we were in the best of hands. Your attention to detail, your help in finding the workmen we needed, and then making sure everything got done, on time, the way it was supposed to be done, was extraordinary. It’s not easy to sell a house from afar, as we needed to do after my Dad died, but never for a moment did I worry. You were on top of it, all the time.
