Great persistence

Kathryn and I want you to know that you did a great job in marketing and closing the sale of our home on Vista D Oro in Niguel Shores last month. We are very relieved to have completed the arduous process of selling our home, and we recognize that a key element (perhaps the key element) in the successful closing of the sale was your great persistence. You warned us that the fall is normally a slow period for showing a home, and yet you brought a constant stream of potential buyers through the house week after week. This went on for 4 ½ months and yet you still arranged to show the house as often towards the end of this period as you did during the first few weeks we worked with you. It was also very meaningful to us that you or your representative was almost always present when a potential buyer examined our home, to explain the unique advantages of Niguel Shores and its Homeowners Association. We were certainly impressed that you were always available with humor, practical advice, and a calm demeanor during the entire period of our house remained on the market. You were a help in not over interpreting why we were not receiving offers, and helped us resist unreasonably further lowering our asking price. As you were fond of saying, you never know who will make an offer, and there certainly was true when the actual buyer of our property made an offer several days after we took the house off the market, thinking that we would not be able to sell the home until sometime in 2015. We might have lost that offer with another realtor working for us, and we were aware that you were marketing our home even when we had withdrawn it from being offered. Again, great job and we wholeheartedly thank you for the tremendous effort you put in. I doubt anyone could have done better.
